Beginning the Meditation Practice

Step into the essentials of meditation with our interactive Introduction to Meditation Workshop.  Ideal for both beginners and those eager to deepen their practice, this workshop provides a welcoming and supportive space to explore meditation.

Introduction to Meditation: Practicing the Practice

First, we’ll dive into a discussion on the fundamentals of meditation.  Then, we examine what meditation means, how it can benefit you, and ways to bring it into your daily routine for more calm and focus.

Next, we’ll transition to the hands-on experience, where you’ll explore two unique meditation styles.  Each style introduces a different approach to achieving mindfulness and inner peace.  Rather than simply learning in theory, you’ll fully engage in the practice, guided every step of the way by our experienced instructor.

By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with practical tools that fit into your daily life.  Additionally, you’ll have the empowerment to start or grow your own meditation practice.  Join us to connect, learn, and take meaningful steps into the world of meditation.  Through exploration, practice, and discussion, you’ll gain insights and techniques that inspire you to bring meditation into your life.

Sifu John Cosma has over 25 years of experience in training in and teaching Chinese Internal Arts and meditation.  He is dedicated to helping people set up and be successful with their own practices.
