Hello! I am a Counselor Trainee, under the supervision of Brock Bodenbender.
I am completing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health and Certificate in Chemical Dependency Counseling at Cleveland State University. I have education and experience in public health including sex education, working with people living with HIV/AIDS, and people experiencing Intimate Partner Violence.
I am passionate about weaving my past work experiences with mental health counseling. I am interested in exploring stigma, shame, relational trauma, anxiety and depression. I believe our relationships are fundamentally important and influential in our lives. My work is influenced by attachment theory, family systems and somatic practices.
It is a great honor to hear your story. Our relationship will focus on building trust and safety in order to explore the past and foster hope for the future.
