Therapy with me is an adventure of the soul, heart, and mind. I strive to understand your perspective, working alongside you as a “fellow traveler” to foster insight, gain a different perspective, and discover actionable next steps. Together, we uncover your strengths, navigate obstacles, and access deeper meaning in life.
My counseling style is warm, personable, and affirming, balancing genuine support with constructive challenge to promote healing and growth. I emphasize compassion and connection, helping you explore what lies within to free yourself from suffering and discover authentic fulfillment.
I integrate various methodologies, including humanistic approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, internal family systems, psychoanalytic theory, mindfulness, and non-ordinary states—tailoring my approach to your unique needs.
As a trained and certified Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapist (through the physician lead program at Skylight Psychedelics), I’m committed to helping individuals overcome self-defeating patterns and achieve higher states of consciousness.
I earned a B.A. in Psychology (2006), a M.Ed. in Community Counseling (2010), and a Ph.D. in Counseling & Human Development (2019) from Kent State University. Since 2010, I’ve worked as a licensed counselor in private practice, college, and hospital settings, specializing in transitions, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and trauma. I’ve also provided clinical supervision, presented at various conferences, taught undergraduate and graduate level college courses, and currently serve in several leadership positions with the Ohio Counseling Association.
