Bio

Jennifer “Jenny” DiGiandomenico is an integrative trauma therapist, clinical supervisor, EMDR Certified Therapist, and founder of Stella Luna Counseling & Wellness. Grounded in trauma-informed care, her work integrates evidence-based psychotherapy with somatic, experiential, contemplative, and psychedelic-assisted approaches to address how experience is held in the mind, body, nervous system, and emotions.

Central to Jenny’s clinical philosophy is mindful awareness: the capacity to observe thoughts, emotions, body sensations, urges, patterns, and nervous-system responses with curiosity rather than avoidance. She returns to a foundational principle: we cannot meaningfully heal what we have not allowed ourselves to feel.

As a trauma-informed practitioner, Jenny understands that many responses are adaptive strategies developed in the service of survival. She emphasizes safety, pacing, consent, and curiosity in her sessions, helping indiviudals reconnect with experiences that may have been minimized or protected. Her approach supports greater self-awareness, emotional integration, and the ability to respond with intention.

Her clinical work draws from EMDR, parts-informed frameworks, somatic and body-based processing, mindfulness, nervous-system regulation, expressive arts, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. She has particular experience integrating EMDR with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, with training in MDMA-assisted therapy, psychedelic studies, and guided psychedelic facilitation.

Embodiment is also an important part of Jenny’s professional identity. Her training and practice include expressive arts, mindful movement, Dancing Mindfulness, meditation, sound, and body-based approaches.

Warm, relational, curious, and direct, Jenny views healing as inherently individualized rather than a one-size-fits-all path. Her work centers around strengthening self-observation, discernment, embodied awareness, and trust in one’s own experience—creating greater room for integration, agency, and meaningful change.
