All are based on the understanding that a vital life force, or energy, permeates and animates all living things. In traditional Chinese medicine, this life force is known as Qi; in Ayurvedic traditions, it is known as Prana, and in more modern modalities, this Life Force energy is often referred to as Source Energy.
