Morgan Shagrin is a counselor trainee currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Cleveland State University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Miami University, with a minor in General Business. Morgan has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental differences, where she supported clients in building social, emotional, and behavioral skills.

Morgan is passionate about working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate common but painful life challenges, including anxiety, self-esteem, identity development, life transitions, emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, and disability-related experiences. Her interest in counseling is rooted in the belief that people deserve support for both the visible and invisible challenges they carry. She hopes to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted.

Morgan’s counseling style, which builds off her own life experiences, is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. She values empathy, authenticity, and respect for each client’s unique lived experience. Morgan strives to help clients recognize their strengths, build confidence, and feel less alone as they work toward growth and meaningful change.
