Couples Therapist
Position Type: Employment or Contractor Option if Dependently Licenced
Location: Stella Luna Counseling and Wellness Center, Middleburg Heights, OH (greater Cleveland area)
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments
- Develop individualized care plans for couples/partners
- Provide couples therapy utilizing evidence-based practices within your scope of practice
- Continuously evaluate and improve treatment plans
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for patient-centered care
- Address wellness and social determinants of health in patient care

Ketamine Assisted Therapy (Optional):
Offer Ketamine Assisted Therapy for couples as an option, integrating innovative treatment modalities when appropriate. -
Somatic Awareness & Polyvagal Theory:
Incorporate somatic awareness practices, including principles of Polyvagal Theory, to support the regulation of the nervous system and enhance relational healing. -
Mindfulness-Based Therapy:
Utilize mindfulness techniques to help couples cultivate presence, emotional regulation, and improved communication.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Must be licensed in the state of Ohio
- Credentials: LPC, LSW, MFT, or Ph.D. in Psychology
- AASECT Certification a plus
- Strong clinical skills and ability to build rapport with patients and families
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team

Employment Details
- Full-time employee role; Contractor option if desired for independently licensed
- Availability to schedule a minimum of 32 direct client hours per week
- All client-related responsibilities (documentation, paperwork) managed by the practitioner
- The practice supports marketing, referrals, intake, billing, and office space
- Practitioner must provide their own laptop
