LPC

I am so glad you are here. Taking the step to seek counseling services and improve your mental wellness is something to be celebrated. Through a culturally-informed and person-centered approach, we will work together to explore the challenges you are facing. I believe that you are your own expert and we will help guide you toward healing and growth through leaning into the strengths you naturally possess. Cultivating a culturally competent supportive space that meets the clients where they are is my priority as a therapist.

After graduating from Cleveland State University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I received a wide variety of training experiences consisting of treating concerns such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, identity struggles, trauma, survivors of sexual assault and rape, struggles with addiction, academic concerns, anger management, and career-related stress within young adult and adult populations.

The techniques I typically utilize include a person-centered approach, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), feminist theory, liberation psychology (strength-based), and trauma-informed care. I am currently accepting clients who are experiencing: mood disorders (depression, bipolar, etc.), anxiety disorders, trauma, sexual trauma, career-related concerns, interpersonal struggles, and identity struggles.

Counseling brings me immense joy and I am passionate about my work. My goal is for each client to know they are important and valued. I am looking forward to working with you!

Mental Health Counseling Services

All of our mental health therapists are licensed by the state of Ohio. Prices vary by practitioner.

Accepted Payments – credit/debit/HSA

We are a private counseling practice, and are working on paneling with insurances at this time. However, we cannot guarantee how long this process will take, or that we will surely be able to panel with your insurance due to the ebb and flow of enrollment. Some of our therapists are currently paneled with  insurances. You can see the updated insurances in each therapist bio, or contact our office for more updated information on where we are in the paneling process. For now, you may be able to utilize your out-of-network benefits for behavioral mental health if you have them. Click for more information and to learn more about this process. You are always welcome to private pay for therapy services. This is beneficial for many reasons, including limiting the amount of disclosure we have to provide to your insurance company about your treatment, and there is no limit to how many sessions you are able to access in a given year.
