I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor
(CDCA) with a background that blends healthcare, education, and behavioral health. I began my
career as a Dental Hygienist and later pursued training as a Physician Assistant student, gaining
valuable insight into both the physical and emotional dimensions of care.

Before becoming a counselor, I taught undergraduate college students in biology, chemistry, and
anatomy and physiology. This academic experience developed my skills in communication,
critical thinking, and understanding complex systems—skills I now apply in a therapeutic
context to help clients explore patterns, increase self-awareness, and foster personal growth.

My approach to counseling is person-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in respect for
each client’s lived experience. I bring both scientific knowledge and empathetic presence into the
room, always seeking to create a safe and supportive space for healing.

I’m also a proud mother of four adult sons and a devoted “Nonni” to my grandson. My two
rescue dogs keep me grounded, reminding me daily of the importance of companionship, play,
and unconditional positive regard.

In every aspect of my work and life, I strive to support others in finding balance, meaning, and
connection.
