Ashley Duncan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor who has worked in the mental-health field since 2013. With experience that spans community work, hospital settings, and outpatient care, Ashley brings over a decade of depth, compassion, and clinical insight to her practice. She now provides therapy at Stella Luna Counseling & Wellness, where she blends evidence-based therapeutic approaches with a warm, culturally responsive presence.

Ashley has supported clients across the lifespan, working with children as young as three through adults in their seventies. Her background includes running therapeutic groups in hospital/outpatient environments, supporting clients during crisis stabilization, individual therapy and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote whole-person wellness. These experiences have shaped her ability to meet clients with steadiness and attunement, even in moments of emotional overwhelm.

At Stella Luna, Ashley’s therapeutic philosophy centers on creating a safe, affirming space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. She integrates trauma-informed care, emotional regulation skills, and relational insight to help clients process grief, navigate life changes, and build internal tools for healing. Her work is guided by the belief that growth comes from partnership, trust, and honoring each person’s unique lived experience.
