Brianna Adamson, LISW
You know your child better than anyone else, and if you ever feel overwhelmed by their intense emotions, please know that you are not alone. For nearly a decade, I have partnered with children and families to strengthen their bonds, increase their understanding of each other, and develop effective individualized tools and strategies.
In addition to my work with children and families, I am passionate about supporting adults in their journey towards healing and growth. I specialize in resolving trauma and relationship challenges that impact daily life. I particularly enjoy collaborating with individuals and couples navigating relationship dynamics, sexuality, and intimacy. At Stella Luna we offer an affirming environment, and enjoy working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Whether you are an adolescent weighed down by life’s pressures, a parent/caregiver of a highly sensitive child, or an adult at any point of the life spectrum, I am here to guide, support and empower you. With diverse experiences across various settings, I specialize in treating relationship challenges, developmental trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, self-esteem issues, depression, behavioral challenges, motivation issues, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
I am committed to providing cutting-edge, holistic, and evidence-based interventions. Along side me, therapy is not intimidating—it’s a path to understanding and healing through a trauma informed lens. I would love to walk with you on your wellness journey.
I obtained my masters from CWRU where I studied social work with a focus on children, youth and families. I work with families and children ages 4+, as well as adolescents and adults. I currently utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, DBT (ages 10+), play based interventions, ACT and somatic interventions. I plan to begin training in EMDR summer of 2024.
