I see therapy as a unique opportunity to ease suffering and expand possibilities.  This can take many forms: processing pain, identifying resources, working toward goals, or exploring new insights, to name just a few.  Along the way, I aim to support clients as they find strength and meaning in their experiences—however painful or confusing those experiences may be. 

My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, trauma, shame, relational issues, and identity exploration.

I am guided by a blend of narrative and existential counseling approaches. This means I value the present moment, see relationships as central to growth and well-being, and believe all people are natural meaning-makers. I enrich these approaches with mindfulness work, CBT and DBT skills, and somatic grounding tools to help clients build awareness and engage with the present. Importantly, I also see clients in social context, acknowledging the complex ways power and oppression affect our everyday lives.
